A low-slung cotton skirt with a velvet figure of the yarará snake encircling its full length. The yarará is a pit viper native to the Argentine grasslands — present in gaucho mythology as much as in the terrain itself, an animal that commands attention without seeking it. The snake, velvet, is part of the structure here, not applied to it.
